Amazing Tilt-Shift Van Gogh Paintings
Serena Malyon, an illustrator in her third year at the Alberta College of Art & Design, has taken the classics works of Vincent Van Gogh and added a contemporary twist. Using Photoshop, Serena has added the ’tilt-shift’ effect to Van Gogh’s paintings, providing a fresh perspective on these masterpieces.

Sometimes I go through my art and open old PSD files and I find these extra hidden layers. They contain false starts, aborted sketches, and sometimes mindless little side doodles that have nothing to do with the final saved image.
Today I found this. I’m not sure what I meant by it.
It’s funny how something that doesn’t mean much to the creator can mean a lot of the participant. This rings with me. This is a phrase I’d start a novel with.

The thing I like most about this how the plants in the background look like fireworks due to the lighting and the focus. Beautiful.
